February Batch Is Out June 9th

OK, so smaller than we had hoped! June 9th was a Friday with no files logged in on the weekend so the 12th was a Monday!  We are definitely NEXT....come on March, we need the next month to just fly by quickly!  And I am sure if will......Peanut, we are so excited to read about you and see your photo..you are in our hearts already and connot wait to hold you in our arms.

Cut-Off Date for January Referals Looks like June 2nd!!

June 2nd seems to be it for this month...we were hoping for at least the fifth and then we were more likely to be in next month's batch.  This means that we are more uncertain to be getting our letter in February and may have to wait until March now.

Happily celebrating that at least they are sending referals to families with June 2006 Log-in-dates so Wahooooo they just need to process 10 more days worth of referals to get to us!!!  Oh my that sounds small but it could take them one, or two or even three months to do!!!  Fingers crossed for February but hoping for no later than March!

Seems to be Official Cut-off Date for December Referrals is May 29th 2006

Ok, so people around the world are getting their referrals for dates between May 24th and May 29th!!!  Small batch but we will take it as it gets us 6 days closer to our Peanut!  Ok...get through the wait for January, celebrate Chinese New Year and then wait for the batch in February to come out...that one is going to be hard!

Rumours Rumours and more Rumours

The latest news has been so frustrating as some agencies saying they have been told there are going to be no referals in December and others saying that yes there will be....so who to believe???

I have decided to be optomistic and believe the rumour that referals are coming next week and that they will have a cut-off date of the 29th....only time will tell.

This puts us into the zone for our referral in mid-February.....again, our destiny will only be revealed when it is good and ready to reveal itself!

19 Referal Days Left

OK, so it is time to get this blog started again. With 19 referal days left we are a few months away from seeing our first picture of peanut.

Reading back on my posts from the beginning of the "long wait", I am facinated by how relatively short we thought the wait would be!

Hopefully the December batch will be big but expecting that it may get to the 30th of May....lets see how many days they cover off!

September Cybershower Gift!!

We had a lovely surprise in the mail this morning, our September cybershower present!! The theme for this month was Ladybugs!! Elizabeth sent this lovely pair of shoes for our peanut. She has a blog too if you want to have a look at it: www.journeytosummer.blogspot.com.

The Waiting Game

Hi Everyone, Us again!!

We are waiting for Kipling or Nikoo to arrive into our family ! When we were waiting for Jasmine, we had a little pink dress hanging on the fireplace so that she was in our lives every day we waited. We have a new outfit for peanut so that they too are in our hearts and our family already :o)

Here are the important dates so far.

DTC (documents to China) May 28th

LID (Log In Date-date our file recieved by CCAA in Beijing) June 12th, 2006

We are hoping that we will recieve our referral sometime towards the end of the summer of 2007.

We are in the long wait now!!

We joined several chat groups with other families from around the world who are waiting with the same DTC and LID as we have. They are great, and very supportive.

We had a cyber shower in June and a lovely lady named Lynn from San Antonio Texas sent our little peanut this shirt! It was really very sweet, the theme of the gift exchange was "red, white and blue" but since we live in Canada we asked for something red and white. Lynn sent the perfect gift, Thank you again so much!!
